Antique indian carved box chest.solid wood.jewelry storage,jewellery box. This box is circa 1900.
With carved decoration. Repaired and restored I also found a key for it so it locks and the lock is in full working order now!
It's intricately carved and painted in sage green which is actually grey with a tinge of green also white waxed over to highlight the carvings
When opened the lid lifts to reveal a carving on the underside of the lid. There is also a lift out tray with another storage section underneath
Inside is painted in a lovely light lavender colour!
satin finish all over.
