A very rare style Large upcycled antique cutlery box circa 1920 Art deco. It has carved twisted wooden drawer keepers that can only be opened when the lid is opened,they also serve as a lid keeper. It has a working lock and original key! It also has original brass handles on both sides.
Decoupaged on the top and the front of the drawer in a a gorgeous collage of flowers,inside has been refined with stunning black and silver hard wearing upholstery material, finished with silk twist cord.
It is painted in a distressed worn beige and black.
I decorated this box so that it can be used as a sewing box or as a jewellery box or just a keepsake box.
A truly unique and stunning piece for keeping anything in! This piece is very heavy! Weighing 8kg
measures 48.5cm wide. 34 cm in depth and 20cm high.
